Award recognizes cross disciplinary student thinkers
Zipher strongly believes that a cross-disciplinary scientific approach to solving complex problems is a requirement for a successful new generation of leaders.
Zipher is extremely proud to recognize students that exemplify this way of thinking. Congratulations to Joseph McGaunn and Emily Hansen who were awarded the annual, peer nominated, Crowley-Nowick Award for iCons Leaders. Dr. Peg Crowley-Nowick, President/Founder of Zipher and UMass Alumni established the Crowley-Nowick Award for iCons Students Philanthropy and Leadership in 2017. Dr. Crowley-Nowick maintains a strong presence and through the Award continues to inspire philanthropy and a sense of community within the program.
During the Annual iCons Senior Celebration ceremony, Dr. Crowley-Nowick was recognized and awarded the UMass iCons Prize for exemplifying the attitude, knowledge and skills to solve important and complex issues facing our world today.
